The fondest memory I have of my grandfather is his booming voice, hushed, telling me if I hold my breath and carefully reach under that old hen she wouldn't peck me. Fifty years later, in the same remodeled chicken house gathering eggs, I know this trick doesn't work.

I am extremely proud to be a 4th generation Rickman to live on our farm near Pomeroy, Washington. My husband Ben Roberts tells everyone not only do we produce the best organic eggs "West of the Mississippi", we also cultivate gratitude. We are thankful to my Great Grandparents who traveled by covered wagon from California in 1888, chose this section of land, by an ever-flowing small stream, and named it Rickman Gulch.

Ben and I have created a Living History Farm, where visitors are always welcome. We are growing forward by going backward with our teams of Belgian horses tilling the soil. Our chickens, hens & roosters are free range. This means they not only have a warm safe hen house to reside in, but every day the weather permits they are outside partaking in whatever Mother Nature has in season.

The special taste in Rickman Gulch Farm Organic Eggs is wholesome, natural goodness. The nutritional value in our eggs is high. We take utmost care in protecting the "natural bloom" on each egg as they are gathered several times a day. Ben  grinds organic grains every week and he carefully blends his own soy free "secret recipe". In the many steps taken from the farm to your refrigerator, customer satisfaction is foremost in our minds. Every dozen you purchase helps support our Living History Farm.

If Grandpa were shopping with me today, I would hear his familiar voice, "Well, I'll be, Rickman Gulch Farm Organic Eggs, they are the best. I'll take two dozen please".

Rickman Gulch Farm Certified Organic Eggs are very nutritious and contain a wide array of essential vitamins and minerals. Our fryer and roaster chickens are hormone and antibiotic free and fed soy-free, non GMO grain and so are flavorful with a good texture.

Rickman Gulch Natural Range-fed Beef has been fed no hormones, no animal by-products and no GMO grain. Quarters, halves and whole beefs, cut and wrapped to your specifications, are available by special order.
